Applying 3C's at ASSA ABLOY - Randy Walker

Applying 3C's at ASSA ABLOY

by Randy Walker

Optimization of the Supply Chain is critical to ASSA ABLOY in order for it to provide the most competitive products and solutions to meet its customers' requirements. In doing this ASSA ABLOY emphasizes the practice of the 3C's - Communication, Collaboration, and Cooperation as keys to its success. Supply chain silos cannot exist in an enterprise if it expects to compete and respond to today's global business environment. ASSA ABLOY views its suppliers as extensions of its business. Project management skills and collaborative efforts of all stakeholders in the supply chain are needed to maximize value and make continued improvements that provide sustainable business growth and bottom line results.

Mr. Walker will share some of the approaches used within ASSA ABLOY in context of the 3C's with emphasis on collaboration through building purchasing council teams and efforts to develop key suppliers across the 150+ companies worldwide that make up ASSA ABLOY AB.
