Mary Kachinsky, C.P.M.

Mary Kachinsky, C.P.M. serves as Director, Northeast Procurement at Pfizer in Groton, CT. Mary leads a site-based procurement team in support of the Research and Development organizations whose objectives are to leverage Pfizer's scale and to deliver overall best total value on external spend.

Mary joined Pfizer in 2003 as Associate Director supporting global strategic sourcing and outsourcing of clinical trials in collaboration with the Development organization. Mary has over 25 years of experience in procurement, materials and supply chain management working in the electronics, communications and bio/pharma industry. Prior to joining Pfizer, Mary served as Director, Materials Management at Genzyme Corporation.

Mary has served the profession through several years of volunteering as a Director, Officer and past President of the Purchasing Management Association of Boston. Her commitment extended to teaching and presenting on supply chain topics for various associations. Mary received her Bachelor of Art Degree Magna Cum Laude from the Carroll School of Management at Boston College.
